Jongmans collection

Jongmans collection

The Jongmans collection is the largest Dutch collection of Carboniferous fossils from the province of Limburg. The majority of the collection consists of beautifully preserved plant fossils. But faunal material is present as well. These mostly represent aquatic animals, although some terrestrial animals - mainly insects - are also part of the collection.
